Johnson and Wales international student was accused of sexually assaulting another student after spending the night together in Newport, Rhode Island. The student immediately retained Attorney Grasso and the two began their own investigation while successfully convincing the Newport Police to investigate further before arresting and charging a serious felony. Attorney Grasso’s investigation included on the scene interviews with witnesses from throughout the state, collecting hours of exonerating video surveillance, volumes of digital evidence, DNA evidence, and more. After weeks of working with police, law enforcement officials, including the Attorney General determined that insufficient evidence existed to support any criminal charges. Attorney Grasso and his client put on a compelling defense to a full university hearing panel. Not responsible of any wrongdoing.
The Result – No Criminal Charges Filed/Not Responsible After Trial.
