Grasso is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and the Federal District Courts, and is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court with xx years of experience. He has represented criminal defendants charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes in the Rhode Island District and Superior Courts,Traffic Tribunal, Massachusetts District and Superior Courts and the First Circuit Court of Appeals. Attorney Grasso was formerly an adjunct faculty member at Roger Williams University School of Law where he taught Trial Advocacy and Criminal Litigation. Attorney Grasso has represented many college and university students accused of student conduct offenses to include campus sexual assault and other violations of the student code of conduct.

Attorney John R. Grasso is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and the Federal District Courts, and is a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court. He has represented criminal defendants charged with misdemeanor and felony crimes in the Rhode Island District and Superior Courts,Traffic Tribunal, Massachusetts District and Superior Courts and the First Circuit Court of Appeals.

Grasso’s priority is to secure the resolution you want to whatever challenging legal issue you are confronted with.  Whether the charge is a misdemeanor or felony, domestic violence, robbery, assault, DUI, sexual assault, possession of child pornography, or any other challenging legal conflict, he zealously and tirelessly advocate for your best interest.

Education and Experience

Grasso is a magna cum laude graduate of Roger Williams University School of Law where he earned honors in Advanced Legal WritingMilitary Law, Judicial Process and Ethics and Trial Advocacy. He has a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Studies from Roger Williams University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Providence College in 1988. In 2010, Grasso was sworn in as a member of the Bar of the United States Supreme Court. Grasso served in various assignments as a United States Army Officer.

Prior to law school, Grasso was a member of the Cranston Rhode Island Police Department where he served as a patrolman, member of the Department’s Special Reaction Team and Underwater Recovery Team. As a former police officer, Grasso possesses a unique understanding of police officer training, policies, procedures, and the methods employed to detect crime and make arrests. Grasso is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, American Bar AssociationRhode Island Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and graduate of the National Criminal Defense College.  He is an adjunct professor of law at Roger Williams University School of Law where he teaches the next generation of lawyers Trial Advocacy and Criminal Litigation.
