“FAIRHAVEN, Mass. (WPRI) – Fairhaven Police arrested a New Bedford man and a woman from the town of Marion after they were seen doing a drug deal inside a parked car in the parking lot of a donut shop two weeks ago.
Detectives said they saw Brian Sylvia, 24, completed a hand-to-hand drug transaction with Justine Pickles, 23, inside the car on Feb. 15, according to a news release from Sgt. Kevin Kobza.
Once in custody, police seized 57 Percocet pills and over $350 in cash from Sylvia, and six Percocet pills from Pickles.
Pickles was charged with possession of a class B substance, and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
Sylvia’s charges include conspiracy to violate drug laws, school zone violations, and distribution of a class B substance, subsequent offense. The latter charge, police said, was because Sylvia pleaded guilty to distribution of a class B substance after an arrest in Acushnet last summer.”
