Title IX: Bryant University

Smithfield Police charged Bryant University student with possession of marijuana and the University convened a hearing on several charges alleging violations of the student code of conduct. The seizure arose from a search of the student’s motor vehicle. Our investigated suggested that the police search was unlawful in violation of the student’s rights. The criminal case was dismissed. After a full university hearing, several of the serious violations were dismissed. The student was permitted to graduate.

The Result – Case Dismissed.
