Brown University freshman was accused of campus sexual assault. The University removed him from campus without any hearing or other form of due process in the middle of final exams. He and his family immediately turned to Attorney Grasso who worked with the Providence Police to keep them from charging any crimes. As the criminal investigation continued, Attorney Grasso turned to the courts for help. From there, the University began its own Title IX investigation. Relying on various forms of compelling evidence, including digital forensic evidence, witness interviews, and more, the criminal case was discharged without any criminal charges brought against our freshman. Attorney Grasso facilitated and prepared our student for the thorough university investigation and provided it with tangible evidence that proved that the complaining student was not telling the truth. The Title IX investigation concluded with a summary disposition – no charges filed.
The Result – No True Bill/No Charges Filed/Case Dismissed.
